Obama


Yes indeed, congratulations.

Not to sound bitter, BUT.

It just proves that if you break your promise on public financing and take private financing, you can win.
Obama raised twice as much money as McCain.
McCain kept his word on public financing.

Also it proves with 80% of the media on your side you can win.

Now the question is,
will he keep his campaign promises.

I am still waiting for Bill Clinton's "tax cut for the middle class" that NEVER happened.
Will Obama do the same and say "we can't afford it"?

Welcome to the Europeizing of America.

My predictions are this:
Obama will ether postpone or drop the tax cut.
We will have no more drilling for oil. Any place.
We will have no more coal plants.
We will have no more nuclear power plants.
Obama will raise gas taxes 25%.
He will raise corporate taxes.
He will raise capital gains tax.
He will have a mandatory government run 401K.
(Similar to Bushes privatization of Social Society,but government run.)
To pay for his Health Care he will have to raise taxes on the middle class.
Of course those that don't(never) pay any taxes will still get Health Care.

As I have said in the past, the first job of the president is to keep the country safe.

I hope Obama can do that.
