WASHINGTON—The National Park Service said it would start enforcing a prohibition against camping at the site of "Occupy DC" protests on Monday, setting up a potential clash between protestors and authorities at one of the nation's last remaining "Occupy" encampments.
The move reflects a change in course for the Obama administration, which is overseeing the protests here because they are taking place in two federal parks.

Police Use Tear Gas on Occupy Oakland Protesters

OAKLAND, California — Police used tear gas and "flash" grenades Saturday to break up hundreds of Occupy protesters after some demonstrators started throwing rocks and flares at officers and tearing down fencing.
Three officers were hurt and about 300 people were arrested, the Oakland Police Department said . No details on the officers' injuries were released.
Police said the group started assembling at a downtown plaza Saturday morning, with demonstrators threatening to take over the vacant Henry Kaiser Convention Center. The group then marched through the streets, disrupting traffic.
