“Employment Prevention Agency”
Submitted by may on November 17, 2010 - 1:04amThe Environmental Protection Agency seems to have been given the agenda of protecting the United States from prosperity and energy self-sufficiency.
During the Obama Administration, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has shut off water to farmers in California, stopped the drilling for oil in the Gulf of Mexico and Alaska, and denied coal-mining permits in West Virginia and Kentucky.
The Environmental Protection Agency has become the “Employment Prevention Agency,” as explained by Governor Mitch Daniels of Indiana. Energy industries have lost production and have cut thousands of jobs. Job creation has been slowed by the lack of plentiful and cheap supplies of energy necessary for our economy to recover and to grow
Former CEO of Shell John Hofmeister warns of the damage being created by the EPA and Obama Administration. Hofmeister characterizes America as being starved for energy.
We have even worse regulations to anticipate. If Obama cannot push through Cap and Trade Taxation, the EPA will attempt to implement regulations that will significantly cripple energy production and usage.
If either Cap and Trade or the EPA implements the currently threatened additional regulations on energy production and consumption, our economy will collapse.
