Juan Williams was a guest on Good Morning America today. Williams talked about NPR firing him and attacking him. The leftist commentator told the GMA hosts,
“Now, all of the sudden I’m a bigot? …This is one of the things in my life that is just so shocking. I grew up basically on the left, I grew up here in New York City. And I always thought the right wing were the ones that were inflexible, intolerant.”
Kliphnote:
When I first heard that Juan Williams was fired by NPR, I wonderedwhat he did that was wrong.
Now I know! He didn't fall in line with the liberal NPR, lockstep.
Why is it so many Conservatives are defending Juan Williams?
I don't agree with Williams on many things.
But he should not have been fired for what he said.
Many people at NPR have said much worse then that, and
have not been fired.
As I said: NPR was waiting for a reason to fire him,
because he was working for Fox news.
If NPR wants to continue receiving funding from the government
they should hire some Conservatives.
And do it fast!PS. Where are the libreals in defense of Williams?
