Barack Obama Should Resign [Reader Post]
Barack Obama should resign the Presidency.
Today.
He is failing to discharge his duties as President. As I have mentioned before, Obama voted “present” 129 times as an Illinois state senator and he continues to vote present as President. Obama is not a leader. He is a great campaigner, great community organizer and a terrific orator, but he is not of Presidential timber. He is not a leader and is not up to this job.
It crystallized in my mind when I read this Drudge headline:

Why the hell did it take this long to meet with the Chairman of BP? At first Obama said it was a waste of time.
President Obama, have you spoken with the CEO of BP to discuss the oil spill in the Gulf?“No… when you talk to a guy like the BP CEO, he’s going to say all the right things to me. I’m not interested in words. I’m interested in actions.”
Kliphnote: "I’m not interested in words."
That is all Obama has are words.
Oh, he's going to meet with the BP CEO

(CNN) - According his official schedule, President Obama did not attend the May 25 memorial service in Jackson, Mississippi for the workers who died in the Deepwater Horizon explosion because he was en route to a fundraiser for Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-California, in San Francisco.
At Thursday's White House briefing, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs was asked why Obama did not attend the service. The president's spokesman answered, "I'd have to look at the schedule. I don't know the answer."
CNN examined the president's schedule for that day, and according to it, the president left the White House at 2:55 p.m. EST en route to Andrews Air Force Base for the cross-country flight to the San Francisco fundraiser.
A Jackson source in possession of the memorial service program told CNN that the service began at 2:00 pm EST and lasted "more than an hour and a half" - putting the president in transit to the fundraiser during the second half of the memorial service.
