POLITICO's Kasie Hunt, who's in the House chamber, reports that Justice Samuel
Alito mouthed the words "not true" when President Barack Obama criticized the Supreme Court's campaign finance decision.
"Last week, the Supreme Court reversed a century of law to open the floodgates for special interests — including foreign corporations — to spend without limit in our elections," Obama said. "Well I don’t think American elections should be bankrolled by America’s most powerful interests, or worse, by foreign entities. They should be decided by the American people, and that’s why I’m urging Democrats and Republicans to pass a bill that helps to right this wrong."
The shot of the black-robed Supreme Court justices, stone-faced, was priceless.
Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) stood up behind the justices and clapped vigorously while Alito shook his head and quietly mouthed his discontent.
Kliphnote:
But it is just fine when Unions give close to 100% to Democrats. Check it here:

And you wonder why the Democrats don't want Tort reform. Because Lawyers and law firms give overwhelmingly to the Democrats. Check it here:

Maybe only individuals should be able to give to political candidates. Not Law firms and unions. What would Obama say about that?
Also remember this: "Republicans in Congress have offered legislation to reform health care, without shifting Medicaid costs to the states, without cutting Medicare, and without raising your taxes." I believe the GOP has six health care bills, that the Democrats will not consider. Also remember for the first time ever union membership is over 50% government workers.
Obama says he will look at Nuclear power and off shore drilling. Don't hold your breath!
Obama says he wants more transparency. I am still waiting for the Health care debates on C-span. And the doors to open from the closed door (and Locked) debates
that ONLY Democrats were allowed to attend.
Democrats say that the Republicans are against everything Obama does. Well guess what, the Democrats did the same thing when Bush was president. Also remember it was "U.S. senator in 2006, Obama -- along with 24 colleagues -- unsuccessfully attempted to filibuster the nomination of Justice Samuel Alito, who had been nominated by George W. Bush." 'Obama went so far as to vow to "support a filibuster of any bill that includes retroactive immunity for telecommunications companies."
Obama is for a filibuster when it benefits him but against when it doesn't. Like most politicians.
Also: The record for the longest individual speech goes to (Democrat) South Carolina's J. Strom Thurmond who filibustered for 24 hours and 18 minutes against the Civil Rights Act of 1957.
PS. Is Scott Brown like a NY Republican........
that is Republican Light.
