President Barack Obama faces significant doubts from the American public about the war in Afghanistan and his handling of foreign policy, according to a Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll. At the same time, he has shored up support for his top domestic priority following this month's health-care speech to Congress.
The poll of more than 1,000 adults, taken within the past week, shows growing optimism that the economy has begun to turn around. And the president's overall approval rating has held steady at 51% since August, as his message on health care has clearly begun to penetrate.
But the survey also has some strong warnings for Mr.Obama http://online.wsj.com/article/SB125365402637131937.html
Bombshell: McChrystal to resign if not given more troops
Rick Moran
Ed Lasky refers to Obama as a "ditherer." A more apt description of our president's non-leadership qualities cannot be found.
He has been dithering about what to do in Afghanistan since January. The delay has only caused the situation there to worsen - to the point that the commanding general on the ground Stanley McChrystal is now begging for more troops in order to avoid disaster.
That leaked report asking for more troops has elicited more excuses, more dithering from the White House. And now we learn via Bill Roggio that McChrystal is doing something almost unheard of; he is challenging his commander in chief to fulfill his desire for more troops or he will resign.
Kliphnote: I have said this here on the "CFO" in the past. Obama has NO military experience , NONE! And NO foreign policy experience, NONE!
Just because Obama apologized to the world for our 'interference' in their affairs, past & present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Tojo, Noriega, Milosevic, Hussein, and the like. Dose not make him an expert on foreign policy.
Obama's talk of winning in Afghanistan was BS.
He had no idea how to win. He used Afghanistan as a talking point to win the election.
His left wing base won't like it if he increases troops levels as much as McChrystal wants.
This is Obama's war. That is all he has been saying for over a year. How he was going to win in Afghanistan.
Don't bet on it. But I will bet he won't take the blame for it. He never takes the blame for anything. Guess who he will blame.

Why not have the ability to buy health insurance across state lines? Obama will not talk about it. The more insurance company's that compete the cheaper it is for the people.
Me thinks....It would mean you would be less likely to need big government. And big government is what Liberals want.
And don't tell me states rights. Save the people money should be first.
And no state would stop that. I would hope.
