Obama's American apology tour, continues

Could not have said it better myself. Tip of the hat to floppingaces.net

Obama's speech:http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/2009-06-04-Obama-text_N.htm

I just don't understand why Obama goes around the world apologizing for what the US has done.
Is he the only sitting president to do that?
Yes, as far as I know.
But never says the good the US has done.
And the US has done many good things in the Muslin world.
I just never knew that the Muslins were that much better than us the the US , until Obama told me. And what bad people we have been in the US.
But not any more, thanks Obama. Weak! Soft!
How soon they forget Daniel Pearl.

Chicago Law Banning Handguns in City Upheld by Court (Update3)
By Andrew M. Harris

June 2 (Bloomberg) -- A Chicago ordinance banning handguns and automatic weapons within city limits was upheld by a U.S. Court of Appeals panel, which rejected a challenge by the National Rifle Association.

The unanimous three-judge panel ruled today that a U.S. Supreme Court decision last year, which recognized an individual right to bear arms under the U.S. Constitution’s Second Amendment, didn’t apply to states and municipalities.http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=awIn1M4tWxi8&refer=worldwide

High court nominee Sonia Sotomayor concurs.
Also it is against the law to own automatic weapon.

Nov. 23, 2008, Chicago Tribune said Obama believed in the right of local communities to enact common-sense laws to combat violence and save lives and that he believed the D.C. handgun law was constitutional.

In a 1996 campaign questionnaire, Obama wrote that he supported "banning the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns."

BEIJING — China blanketed Tiananmen Square with police officers Thursday, determined to prevent any commemoration of the 20th anniversary of a military crackdown on pro-democracy protesters that left hundreds dead. http://sweetness-light.com/archive/china-blocks-tiananmen-anniversary

President Clinton closed years of political and economic debate Tuesday, and sealed a major achievement of his administration by signing a bill extending permanent, normal trade status to China. October 10, 2000

I don't know why Clinton pushed the trade deal.
