Autos (again)

Again!

I met with an old friend over the weekend.

"He asked how is the auto industry going?"
I told him not so good, it looks like GM may be filing for bankruptcy.

He tells me he sent letters to the Big Three asking why they don't
sell more cars in
the foreign market, particularly Asia. He spent time in Korea.
He never got a response.

I told him you don't see many American cars in Asia because Asians buy
Asian cars.
Unlike many Americans who would rather buy a foreign car.

They drive
foreign cars because it's the "classy" thing to do.
You would be "uncool" to drive an American car.

I told him all you have to do is go to a school of any type(grade, high, college, university) and check
the faculty(and student) parking lot. And you would be hard pressed to find an American car.
He say he does just that(maybe pulling my leg) and finds very few American cars.
He says he just doesn't understand it.
But guess what? He is one the school faculty members that drives a foreign car.
He was a principal at a school.
And that is about all he has ever driven.

Why do many "Professional" people drive foreign cars?
And not cheap cars either.

It used to be people complained how
expensive cars were, now they brag how much they paid for their cars.

These people can come up with any excuse of why they buy foreign cars. Just a line of BS!

Most of them don't know anything about cars,
it is just more "prestigious" to drive foreign cars.

These people don't know their ass from their elbow, a cotter pin from a carburetor!

I tend to judge people more by their actions than their words.

LOL!! You should tell him that the reason the American cars don't sell well in Asian markets is because of our inferior muffler bearings and canootan valves!!

So some of the spelling was off and sentence were discombobulated....
