Obama expressed "doctrinaire" Marxist views

Kliphnote: To the Left-heads Obama can do no wrong.
Just as long as they get what they want.
They want others to pay for their health care, because most don't
pay any federal income tax.
More gay rights. If Obama was gay they would be happy as hell.
Tax the rich more so the "poor" can have more.
Increase gas cost to $6.00+ a gal.
That would be fine if we had a reliable alternative to gas.
But we don't! Bio fuels are not working, electric cars are
not working.  Show me a reliable alternative.
No BS, just show me.
As this country gets weaker and more broke by the day.
They love Obama blindly. Brainless fools.

Watchdog Press Yawns Over Obama Socialist Ties

Journalism: The president's Rolodex of radicals has grown even fatter after bloggers revealed fresh details about his earlier ties to socialists. Yet the major media continue to keep a lid on it.

Last month, a former Marxist professor recounted a politically explosive tete-a-tete he had with Obama when he was a college student.

In his first-hand account, posted on AmericanThinker.com, John C. Drew, a Ph.D., said Obama expressed "doctrinaire" Marxist views, including the need for a new socialist U.S. government that would redistribute the nation's wealth.

In fact, Drew noted that Obama was the fiercest of the true believers among campus Marxists at Occidental College in Los Angeles, and that he had to counsel him on pragmatics.

"Since I was a Marxist myself at the time, and had studied variations in Marxist theory," he said, "I can state that everything I heard Obama argue was consistent with Marxist philosophy, including the ideas that class struggle was leading to an inevitable revolution and that an elite group of revolutionaries was needed to lead the effort."

Drew cited the date and place of their hours-long meeting, along with several witnesses who were there — including Obama's roommate, Hasan Chandoo, also described as a "committed Marxist." Chandoo doesn't deny the meeting, but claims he cannot recall what Obama said.

He's no fly-by-night connection. Obama stayed with his wealthy family in Karachi, Pakistan, for three weeks before transferring to Columbia University. Years later, Chandoo attended Obama's wedding and became a major $100,000 bundler for his presidential campaign.

This much of the story was reported when the media feigned vetting Obama in 2008. A lengthy AP story on the "young Obama" named Chandoo and his other Oxy pals, but mainly to offer banal insights about Obama being "super bright" and "a good body surfer."

If they shared subversive ideas, readers would not have known it. Their radical activism, which by Drew's account was all-consuming, was left out of the story. The major media still have not reported Drew's credible testimony.

On Monday, the late conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart posted, posthumously, a 1998 poster advertising a Chicago play romanticizing the late Marxist agitator, Saul "The Red" Alinsky. The poster features Obama and several known communists as panelists in a "post-show discussion."

This is especially newsworthy given how the media have tried to downplay Obama's ties to Alinsky radicals when he worked as a community organizer in South Side Chicago.

Who cares about Obama's past at this late stage? One of the panelists listed on the poster with Obama is socialist leader Heather T. Booth, a longtime Obama patron with key access to the White House, where she's had a major hand in shaping new regulations.

It was Booth's classmate and fellow Alinskyite Jerry Kellman who hired and helped train Obama as an organizer in the 1980s. In 1992, Booth and Obama worked on Democratic Sen. Carol Moseley-Braun's 1992 campaign. And she and her union boss husband helped finance Obama's own Senate run a decade later. They also donated to his White House bid.

After Obama was elected, Booth started Americans for Financial Reform, a Who's Who of radical groups that spent $2 million to block the banking industry from watering down the Dodd-Frank Act. Booth held a celebration on the Hill after the bill passed with several provisions she championed, including new government powers to enforce affirmative-action lending.

During the lobbying effort, White House records show she and her husband visited the West Wing and the Obama residence. She also works closely with Obama's new domestic policy adviser, Cecilia Munoz, who sat with Booth on the board of Center for Community Change, a radical group led by Acorn's former Washington lobbyist.

Booth is not done reforming Wall Street. She also wants to cap bank interest rates and tax all stock transactions at a starting rate of 10 cents per $100 trade. She says this "tiny tax on Wall Street" would raise $1 trillion over 10 years and help pay for socialized medicine.

The media elite's reaction to this latest radical connection to Obama? Yawn.
