Gas Prices See Highest March Price Ever and 7th Consecutive Weekly Increase

Analysts Say Consumers Should Get Used to High Oil Prices, Despite Some Easing

The weekly national average gas price showed the highest price ever during the month of March and the seventh consecutive increase this week, according to the Department of Energy. Prices are at their highest level since 2008, in part because of the Japan earthquake and turmoil in the oil-producing Middle East. But analysts say the price of oil and gas would still hover at a surprisingly high level despite geopolitical concerns.

Ten UN Workers Slaughtered in Afghanistan Attack Over Koran Burning in US

The Religion of Peace strikes again…

Afghan protesters were voicing their anger over the burning of the Koran by US pastor Wayne Sapp…
So they slaughtered 10 UN workers. (AFP)
Ten United Nations workers were murdered today by demonstrators protesting the burning of the Koran in the United States.
AFP
reported:
Ten foreign UN workers were killed on Friday in an attack on the UN headquarters in the northern Afghan city of Mazar-i-Sharif by demonstrators protesting at the burning of the Koran by a US pastor, police told AFP.
“Ten (UN) people have been killed by the protesters (…) All the killed are foreigners,” police spokesman Lal Mohammad Ahmadzai said.

More Americans now work for the government than in manufacturing, farming, fishing, forestry, mining and utilities combined.
The unemployment rate dropped to 8.8% in March according to the Labor Department.
Bloomberg
reported:
The U.S. economy added more jobs than forecast in March and the unemployment rate unexpectedly declined to a two-year low of 8.8 percent, a sign the labor- market recovery is gathering speed.

Terry Jones burns a Koran and dozens of innocent people die

Yes, it’s reckless of him to do it, but still, it seems if they didn’t have a Terry Jones they would have to make up something, ie. cartoons, to get their panties twisted in a knot. Burning the Koran is bad but killing innocent human beings is good…What kind of thought process is this?
Friday’s incident began when three mullahs, addressing worshippers at Friday prayers inside the Blue Mosque here, one of Afghanistan’s holiest places, urged people to take to the streets to agitate for the arrest of Terry Jones, the Florida pastor who oversaw the burning of a Koran on March 20.
 Kliphnote: It's April fools day.
But every day is fools day for some people.

The leftheads just can't get over Palin.
Seek help, fools.

Oil and gas prices keep going up.
That makes some of the leftheads happy, fools.

Unemployment is down to (wow!) 8.8 %.
And that is time to celebrate, fools.

(If you recall, I said over two years ago.
Do not spend money tiring to accelerate the
economy. Keynesian economics does not work.
It will recover on it's own.
No one listened, now we are in debt to $14 trillion,
and still have not recovered.
Remember it was as John Maynard Keynes once suggested that the government could create jobs by burying bottles full of money in coal mines, covering them with trash, and encouraging people to dig them up. Fools.)

Afghan protesters murder  10 UN workers over the burning
of the Koran by a US pastor.
Fools of the day!
