Health bill clears hurdle with support from Snowe

At the White House, Obama called the events "a critical milestone" toward remaking the nation's health care system. He praised Snowe as well as Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont., chairman of the committee, and declared, "We are going to get this done."

All other news programs kiss Obama's ass.

But they thought it was just fine to criticize Bush, but they don't criticize Obama.

CNN did a fact check on a Saturday Night Live comedy skit about Obama.

But they never did a fact check when the skit was about Bush or Palin.

Health care bill passed the Senate finance committee. Part of the bill has a tax on high end"Gold plated" health care insurance plans. Those plans may cover dental and eye care along with EKG and CAT scans.

It may also reduce Medicare coverage.

All in the name of raising taxes to pay for Obamacare, that will still leave 25 million

not covered.

The problem I have is, I may have one of those "Gold Plated" health care plans.

The tax will be an excise tax on the insurance company's.

That will past the cost on the my employer.

My employer will ether past the cost on to me or drop health care all together.

This is a private health care plan. Costing the tax payers nothing.

I worked in a factory all my life to provide for my family just to have my taxes increased

to pay for someone who doesn't have health care!

Do you think I enjoyed working in a factory? NO!

I did it because I could have a good health care for my family.

If I knew we had national health care I would get a job I enjoyed.

So much for not increasing taxes on the middle class. More lies.

I know this was only the Senate finance committee.

And it has to go to0 the full senate than the house. It still has a ways to go.

Also part of the senate bill was going to pass more cost on to Medicaid.

The state is mandated to pick up part of the cost, which in turn passes it

to the county. Who increases the tax on the county tax payer. ME!

It's not like NY state is not taxed enough already.

So, no matter how you look at it the middle class will get a tax increase.

Just more lies. Wait for the Cap and Trade, more taxes.
