Tort reform?***** Unlikely*******

"I am directing my Secretary of Health and Human Services to move forward on this initiative today,"
That would be Secretary of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius, whoseresume includes eight years as director of the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association.

So Obama has chosen a former industry lobbyist to run run tort reform.

Why are people cynical about health care reform?
Kliphnote:
Let me say this again. EVERY social program the government runs is going broke.
And health care will be no different.

So much being taken seriously about cost savings.
Besides it's NOT in the Constitution forcing anyone to have health insurance.

If anyone is concerned about the cost of health care, it should start with Trot reform.
If tort is not one of the reasons for high medical cost than what is.

If Obama thinks he can get rid of fraud and waste, tax the rich, reign in the Doctors
who do unnecessary procedures (according to Obama it happens all the time.) and evil
insurance company's, he can have health care and it won't cost a penny.

Again why is health care costing so much? Some people don't care what it cost
As long as they have health care.

I bet it cost LESS(adding inflation) today to have your gallbladder( or something similar) removed than it did 50 years ago.

If anyone is ONLY concerned about health care at any cost, than have it your way.
But I payed into Medicare for over 40 years, I want my money back.
Democrats rudely interrupted President Bush to applaud their own obstruction of legislation to fix Social Security:
Obama was right there with the rest of the Democrats. Now he doesn't like it.
